Casual Pleated

So as it turns out the Lower East Side is one of my favorite neighborhoods in this city. It has lots of chic and cozy places, and also some really unique/weird ones you could find and feel like you're in a parallel universe.

One of the things I like best is to simply feel confident. And for me, confidence obviously comes from within, but an outfit I love could also be a major factor. In this case, I chose to show a little leg with the combination of this adorable Club Monaco pleated skirt and the Calvin Klein over the knee boots. Of course the plaid comfy scarf adds the perfect touch of color and combines perfectly with my beloved Coach purple purse. I found this sweater at French Connection in the summer. I know, who buys sweaters in the summer, right? I found it terribly difficult to leave behind just because of the side fact that it was hot outside! I love the zippers on the sides, it upgrades your normal black sweater and gives it that rugged mysterious chic.

Just a comment on the David Bowie graffiti, it was such a beautiful tribute to such a great artist who changed the world of music as we know it. You will find me laughing in the particular picture with the art in the background because it is better to laugh and to be grateful for what he brought to us as his gift of music. Enjoy the photos and and this cute neighborhood!
